Technical Reports for Computer Science

Hodges Library and most university libraries do not hold technical reports. Reports are typically held in the department who produced them. Here are a few searchable repositories:

Networked Computer Science Technical Reports Library (NCSTRL)
This is the major source of CS technical reports. NCSTRL is a federation of digital libraries providing computer science materials.

The Collection of Computer Science Bibliographies
This is a collection of bibliographies of scientific literature in computer science. The collection contains more than 1.2 million references, mostly to journal articles, conference papers and technical reports.

The Computing Research Repository (CoRR)
This site is sponsored by the ACM, the Los Alamos e-Print archive and NCSTRL.

The ACM Digital Library
The ACM Digital Library contains citations and full text from ACM journal and newsletter articles and conference proceedings.

The ACM Guide to Computing Literature
The Guide is a collection of bibliographic citations and abstracts of works published by ACM and other publishers. It has citations, journal articles, conference proceedings, doctoral dissertations, master's theses, and technical reports.

On-line CS Technical Reports
This site is from Carnegie Mellon University. The site has links to 395 other CS technical report sites from around the world, mostly university sites.

Argonne National Laboratory Mathematics and Computer Science Division
This site has links to MCS's technical reports anonymous ftp area. There are links to Technical Memoranda, Preprints, and Abstracts of Reports and Preprints.

National Technical Information Service (NTIS)
The NTIS is the largest, central resource for government-sponsored scientific, technical, and engineering research reports. It is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
